So I dont have to deal with too many weeds, the farm is home to a small flock of Merino sheep. Organic of course.
If you would like to buy a raw wool fleece - as it comes off the sheep at shearing- contact me.

Are you skilled at shearing yet? We had quite the time with our first shearing this year!

I will confess - I have no aspirations on learning how to shear.
We run a flock of about 200+ so it’s easier to hire the lightning fast professionals for a day or two and get a quality effort done on the whole flock.
Running around after these guys picking up and packing the fleeces is enough work in itself. I still havent got the art of tossing a fleece on the table yet - after four years of trying - maybe one day…..
